Shut Up and Kiss Me

Ryan Ballister is a 27-year old stockbroker living at home and disenchanted with his job, yearns for independence. With the help from his best friend Pete, Ryan moves into his own apartment. While Ryan is often uptight and awkward about dating, Pete has more of a go-for-the-gusto, revolving door policy for women. After learning the truths and myths about love from Pete, Ryan’s Mother sets him up with a "square, boring, conservative" girl. This date obviously doesn’t work out, so it is back to the "scams".

The next day while Pete and Ryan are in a diner discussing with friends the "perks" of being single versus dating, Ryan meets Jessica, and he instantly knows "she’s the one". Jessica, a tour guide for a riverboat cruise in Miami, is a down-to-earth, "real" girl, with a zest for adventure...Just not the "high octane," run-for-your-life brand of adventure Pete drags Ryan into. Ryan and Jessica find love, becoming "partners’ and best of friends, eventually devising a wacky invention and going into business together. Pete’s magic as a slick player with the ladies starts to run dry after a string of hellish experiences. It is at that time, that Pete takes Ryan along on to the Bahamas to rescue his one and only true-love, Tiara, who is being held captive by her maniacal, drug dealing, wise guy father, who just happens to be a distinguished ambassador to the Islands. Jessica, left in the dark, not knowing Ryan’s whereabouts, is at her breaking point and about to call it quits. In the end, Ryan and Jessica prove that love really does conquer all!
